Everything we do is a team effort, including giving back to the community. At Fontaine Family - The Real Estate Leader we believe in giving back because the loyalty of our community has been absolutely amazing and our family is forever grateful.
Supporting make-a-wish maine
Fontaine Family Team started fundraising for Make-A-Wish Maine in 2009 participating in their yearly Walk for Wishes. In 2013, we began our annual Bid for Wishes Virtual Auction as an online fundraiser event hosted on Facebook in order to grant a wish for a seriously ill Maine Wish kid.
The first year of our Bid for Wishes auction consisted of just a handful of agents but managed to collect 50 items, had 30 attendees and raised a little over $900. In 2025, we hosted our 12th Annual Bid for Wishes Virtual Auction on Facebook in memory of Hannah Clark's son, Jackson. It was a huge success with over 300 items collected from Maine business owners. Over $26,000 was raised to grant wishes for seriously ill children in Maine. We have been involved with fundraising for Make a Wish Maine since 2009 and have raised nearly $200,000 since then. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this worthy cause.
"Cans for a cure" - Breast cancer support
Every October since 2005, our team participates in WJBQ Q97.9’s “Cans for a Cure” which raises money to help those fighting breast cancer in Maine. All agents and staff members encourage clients, friends, family and businesses to save cans and bottles to donate to the cause. The goal each year is to completely fill our moving van with cans and bottles and we’re proud to say we’ve done this year after year!
Safe voices
Our involvement with SafeVoices happens every Thanksgiving and Christmas by adopting families suffering from domestic violence. Team members generously donate food items and gifts, while also encouraging the public and local businesses to get involved as well. Our goal every year is to collect enough food items and gifts to adopt at least two families in need.
