Recently we had the privilege of working with one of your realtors, Charmaine Raby, when we purchased a home in Gardiner.  In October, we called Fontaine Family, hoping to have a member of your staff meet us at a property located at 84 Cabbossee Ave,  while en route back to our home in the Washington DC area.  My wife Anita and I were looking at potential homes in Maine located near water that we could purchase for a summer home and saw this one as we drove by the property.  Luckily for us, you were able to send over Charmaine on a moment's notice who arrived at the home within 20 minutes and spent the next hour showing us the property and discussing the local area.  After looking at multiple homes in southern Maine over the previous four days, it was a pleasure to meet someone who was nice enough to listen to our needs and associated timelines, and more importantly provide us feedback that helped us make a decision while we were still visiting the property to purchase the home.  We went home expecting the typical follow-up of "are you interested in looking at other properties, or have you made a decision yet..." which we had already.  Instead, Charmaine asked us what we needed from her to make our final decision easier.  Over the next several weeks, Charmaine worked with us, the sellers, and the finance company to get the sale accomplished.  She knew what was needed, how to achieve those goals, and ultimately made us feel like we mattered during the process.  We continue to work with Charmaine; rather be Charmaine letting us know a big storm with high winds was going to hit the area that night or us calling her hoping to locate a HVAC expert.  That dedication was and still is important to us as we will not be actually moving into the property for the summer until mid-May.   Charmaine is one of those rare people that actually takes action and not just talks about action.   We feel like we have a new friend that we can trust.
